1 February 4, 1964 approve the proposed annexation boundaries of said "East 2 Colton Annexation No, 21 3 Section 4, That June 16, 1964 at the hour of 7:30 p,m, in the Council 4 Chambers in the Civic Center, 650 North 8th Street in the City of Colton, 5 County of San Bernardino, California is hereby fixed as the time and place 6 when and where council will hear protests of owners of property within the 7 city who do not own property in territory sought to be annexed. 8 Section 5. The City Clerk of the City of Colton is hereby authorized 9 and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least once 10 in the Colton Daily Courier a newspaper of general circulation published in 11 said City of Colton, the city to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid 121 territory, said publication to be complete at least 4 days prior to the date 131 set for hearing. 14 Section 6. In the event there is, upon the land proposed to be annexed 15 to said City, a structural improvement owned, being acquired or leased by a 16 county fire protection district, the City Clerk is directed to cause written 17 notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the governing body of such 18 district, such notice to be sent not less than ten (10) days before the first 19 public hearing upon such proposed annexation,: 20 Section 7.
