RESOLUTION NO. 2517 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF COLTON RELATING TO UTILITY <br /> BILLING FOR THE CITY OF COLTON. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br /> that from and after the 17th day of November, 1964, the following rules shall apply <br /> to Utility Billings for the City of Colton: • <br /> 1. Connection Fees - Residential <br /> (a) That a $5. 00 connection fee be charged and collected from the <br /> applicant for residential electrical service prior to making <br /> such connection. <br /> (b) That a $5. 00 connection fee be charged and collected from the <br /> applicant for residential water service within the City of Colton <br /> prior to making such connection. <br /> (c) That a $10. 00 connection fee is hereby established for water <br /> service outside the City of Colton. <br /> 2. Commercial or Temporary Deposits <br /> (a) That no change be made in commercial or temporary deposits <br /> for Electrical and Water services. <br /> (b) That if the applicant for commercial or temporary service is <br /> unable to pay the deposit in full, service may be connected for <br /> one-half the total amount, provided that the balance will be paid <br /> within thirty (30) days from the date of service connection. <br /> (c ) That all commercial deposits shall be held by the City for a <br /> minimum period of 1 year in which no disconnect charge has <br /> been made against the account for which the deposit was placed. <br />
