1 RESOLUTION NO, 2573 2 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF COLTON OF 3 UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HERE- IN AND DESIGNATED "SOUTH COLTON ANNEXA- 4 TION NO, 17" AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO, 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 6 COLTON: 7 SECTION 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of 8 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 (Special procedure under Section 35310.1 9 Government Code) a petition signed by the owners of all the land in the here- 10 inafter described territory was filed with the City of Colton requesting 11 annexation of the following described territory to the City of Colton. 12 SECTION 2. That the territory which the petitioner is proposing to 13 annex to the City of Colton is situate in the County of San Bernardino, State 14 of California, hereby designated "South Colton Annexation No. 17" and 15 described as follows: 16 That portion of the Southeast one-quarter of the Northeast one- 17 quarter of Section 33, Township 1 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, described as follows: 18 Beginning at a point in the centerline of Hilltop Drive, 40 feet 19 wide, (as shown in Record of Survey Book 11, Page 65,) said point being North 20 feet along the East line of the Northeast 20 one-quarter of said Section 33 from the Northeast corner of the Southeast one-quarter of the Northeast one-quarter of said 21 Section 33, said point also being a point on the corporate boundary of the City of Colton; thence South along the East 22 line of the Northeast one-quarter of said Section 33, and along the Colton boundary line 1334. 02 feet to the Southeast 23 corner of the Northeast one-quarter of said Section 33; thence South 89° 561 00" West along the south line of the Northeast 24 one-quarter a distance of 575. 81 feet; thence North 16°061 12" West, 284.49 feet (recorded North 15° 391 West, 278. 10 feet;) 25 thence South 80°51t 45" West 194. 71 feet (recorded South 82° 402 West, 186.00 feet); thence North 81° 42t 00" West 49. 62 feet; 26 thence North 27o 54t 15" East 257.13 feet (recorded North 29° 542 30" East, 257.23 feet;) thence North 14° 32t 20" East, 27 237.95 feet (recorded North 16°32!
