That the County Boundary Commission of San Bernar» <br /> 4 <br /> dino County, California did in session duly assembled on April 29, 1965 <br /> 5 <br /> consider the proposed annexation boundaries of said "South Colton Annexation <br /> 6 <br /> No. 17" as above described, and as submitted to said Commission by the pro- <br /> 7 <br /> ponents of said annexation and that the Local Agency Formation Commission <br /> 8 <br /> of San Bernardino County, California did in session duly assembled on <br /> 9 <br /> May 25, 1965 approve the proposed annexation boundaries of said "South <br /> 10 <br /> Colton Annexation No. 17". <br /> 11 <br /> SECTION 4. That Tuesday, July 6, 1965 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in th= <br /> 12 <br /> Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 650 North 8th Street in the City of <br /> 13 <br /> Colton is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where Council will <br /> 14 <br /> hear protests of owners of property within the City who do not own property <br /> 15 <br /> in territory sought to be annexed. <br /> 16 <br /> SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Colton is hereby authorized <br /> 17 <br /> and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least once in <br /> 18 <br /> the Colton Courier a newspaper of general circulation published in said City <br /> 19 <br /> of Colton, the City to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, <br /> 20 <br /> said publication to be complete at least 4 days prior to the date set for <br /> 21 <br /> hearing. <br /> 22 <br /> SECTION 6. In the event there is, upon the land proposed to be <br /> 23 <br /> annexed to said City, a structural improvement owned, being acquired or <br /> 24 <br /> leased by a county fire protection district, the City Clerk is directed to <br /> 25 <br /> cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the govern- <br /> 26 <br /> ing body of such district, such notice to be sent not less than ten (10) days <br /> 27 <br /> before the first public hearing upon such proposed annexation. <br /> 28 <br /> SECTION 7. The City Clerk is directed to cause written notice to be <br /> 29 <br /> given to such other persons as may be legally entitled thereto in the manner <br /> 30 <br /> required by law. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 <br />
