1 RESOLUTION NO. 2567 2 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXA 'ION TO THE CITY OF r`r)LTON OF 3 UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCI UBED HERE- IN AND DESIGNATED "SOUTH COLTON ANNEXA- 4 TION NO. 16" AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS 5 I THERETO. 6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON 7 j SECTION 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of 8 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 (Special procedure under Section 35310.1 9 Government Code) a petition signed by the owners of all the land in the here- 10 inafter described territory was filed with the City of Colton requesting annexa- 11 tion of the following described territory to the City of Colton. 12 SECTION 2, That the territory which the petitioner is proposing to 13 annex to the City of Colton is situate in the County of San Bernardino, State 14 of California, hereby designated "South Colton Annexation No. 16" and 15 described as follows: 16 Those portions of' Lot 12 and of the Subdivision of Lot 13, both of Bandini Donation, Township 1 South, Range 4 West, San Bernar- 17 dino Base and Meridian, as per plats recorded in Book 3 of Maps, Page 24, and in Book 9 of Maps, Page 23, records of San Bernar- 18 dino County and more particularly described as follows: 19 Beginning at the intersections of the centerline of Agua Mansa Road, 60 feet wide, with the northeast corner of Lot 12 pro- 20 longed northerly, said Bandini Donation, said point being a point in the corporate boundary of the City of Colton; thence 21 along the easterly line of said Lot 12 and said Colton boundary line the following courses and distances; south 14° 45' east a 22 distance of 208.2 feet; thence north 81° east a distance of 191.40 feet; thenee south 57° 30' east a. distance of 184.80 feet; 23 thence south 7 °east a distance of 792 feet; thence south 82° 15' west a distance of 224.40 feet; thence north 88° 46' west a 24 distance of 374 feet; thence south 0° 28' west along said Colton boundary line to an intersection with the northerly line of the 25 San Bernardino County Flood Control Channel, 1050 feet wide; said northerly line being a curve, concave to the south, having 26 a radius of 2950 feet and a central angle of 103° 21' 22"; thence leaving said Colton boundary line, westerly along said northerly 27 line to its intersection with the westerly line of Lot 5 of said Subdivision of Lot 13, Bandini Donation; thence north 4° east to 28 the south line of Lot 4 of the Subdivision of said Lot 13; thence northwesterly along the west line of Lot 4 and Lot 1 said Sub- 29 division of Lot 13 to the centerline of said Agua Mansa Road; thence easterly along said centerline following its various 30 courses, to the Point of Beginning. 31 32
