1 SECTION 3. That the County Boundary Commission of San Bernardino 2 County, California did in session duly assembled on April 15, 1965 consider 3 the proposed annexation boundaries of said "South Colton Annexation No. 16" 4 as above described, and as submitted to said Commission by the proponents 5 of said annexation and that the Local Agency Formation Commission of San 6 Bernardino County, California did in session duly assembled on May 19, 1965 7 approve the proposed annexation boundaries of said "South Colton Annexation 8 No. 16" 9 SECTION 4. That Tuesday, June 15, 1965 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. 10 in the Council Chambers in the Civic Center, 650 North 8th Street in the City 11 of Colton is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where Council will 12 hear protests of owners of property within the City who do not own property 13 in territory sought to be annexed, 14 SECTION 5. The City Clerk of the City of Colton is hereby authorized 15 and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least once in 16 the Colton Courier a newspaper of general circulation published in said City 17 of Colton, the City to which it is proposed to annex the aforesaid territory, 18 said publication to be complete at least 4 days prior to the date set for 19 hearing. 20 SECTION 6. In the event there is, upon the land proposed to be 21 annexed to said City a structural improvement owned, being acquired or 22 leased by a county fire protection district, the City Clerk is directed to cause 23 written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to the governing body 24 of such district, such notice to be sent not less than ten (10) days before the 25 first public hearing upon such proposed annexation. 26 SECTION 7. The City Clerk is directed to cause written notice to be 27 given to such other persons as may be legally entitled thereto in the manner 28 required by law. 29 ADOPTED this 1st day of June, 1965 by the following vote: 30 AYES: Councilmen Coltrin, Kaney, Holtzendorff, Spragins, Oliva NOES Councilmen None 31 ABSENT: Councilmen None )L: -.7// , 32 pity erk
