RESOLUTION NO. 2623 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON GRANTING TO SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY, A CORPORATION, ITS SUCCESSORS AND 31 ASSIGNS, A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAINTAIN AND OPERATE TRACKS AT GRADE 41 SEPARATIONS ACROSS OLIVE AND "C" STREETS IN THE CITY OF COLTON. 5 WHEREAS , Southern Pacific Company, a corporation, has applied for a 6 permit to construct, maintain and operate its standard gauge main line railroad 7 tracks at separated grades over Olive and "C" Streets in the City of Colton, 8 described as follows: Olive Street 10 11 Commencing at the northeast corner of Government Lot 1, 12 Section 19 , Township 1 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino 13 Base & Meridian; thence west 75 feet, more or less, along the 14 north line of said Lot 1 to a point of intersection with the proposed 15 center line of the Southern Pacific Company s main track 16 (Palmdale to Colton) at or near Railroad Engineer Station 17 4075+56+; thence north along said center line of track to a 18 19 point of intersection with the southerly line of Olive Street and 20 the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING of the line to be described; thence 21 continuing north along said center line of track and crossing the 22 center line of said Street at or near Railroad Engineer Station 23 4075+18+ to a point of intersection with the northerly line of said 24 Street. 25 "C" Street 26 27 Commencing at the northeast corner of Government Lot 1, 28 Section 19 , Township 1 South, Range 4 West, San Bernardino 29 Base & Meridian; thence west 75 feet, more or less, along the 30 north line of said Lot 1 to a point of intersection with the 31 proposed center line of the Southern Pacific Company's main 32 track (Palmdale to Colton) at or near Railroad Engineer Station
