PARTIES AND DATE This First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement ("First Amendment') dated as of the 17th day of January, 2006 is entered into by and between the City of Colton ("City") and CCC Consultants, a Corporation with its principal place of business at 5057 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016 ("Consultant"). ARTICLE 2. RECITALS 2.1 City and Consultant entered into that certain Professional Services Agreement dated August 31, 2005, whereby Consultant agreed to provide Plan Check Consulting Services. 2.2 City and Consultant now desire to amend the Agreement to increase the amount of compensation and services. ARTICLE 3. TERMS 3.1 Section 3.3.1 of the Agreement is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with a new Section 3.3.1 to read as follows: 3.3.1 Compensation. Consultant shall receive compensation, including authorized reimbursements, for all Services rendered under this Agreement at the rates set forth in Exhibit "C" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The total compensation shall not exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) without written approval of the City's Representative. Extra work may be authorized, as described below, and if authorized, will be compensated at the rates and manner set forth in this Agreement. 3.2 Continuing Effect of Agreement. Except as amended by this First Amendment, all provisions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
