I WHEREAS, the 1-10 Corridor Analysis contains visions, goals, guidelines, and <br />2 implementation actions, to be considered in the development review process, and are not <br />3 intended to commit the City of Colton to any specific actions or expenditures. <br />4 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />5 <br />HEREBY RESOLVE, that Colton supports the 1-10 Corridor Analysis as a strategic planning <br />6 <br />document to help achieve the vision and goals for the 1-10 Corridor set forth in the Interstate <br />7 <br />10 Corridor Analysis. <br />8 <br />9 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Colton directs staff <br />10 to: <br />11 1. Continue coordinating and collaborating with the participating agencies to address <br />12 issues identified in the 1-10 Corridor Analysis; and <br />13 2. Submit for consideration by the Colton City Council, potential action items and/or <br />14 opportunities that arise from the ongoing collaboration with participating agencies or <br />15 that relate to the implementation actions identified in the 1-10 Corridor; and <br />16 3. Jointly seek funding sources with participating jurisdictions and agencies to support <br />17 <br />future actions that improve the 1-10 Corridor; and <br />18 <br />4. Mutually refer projects in the 1-10 Corridor to participating agencies for review, <br />19 <br />comment and development of solutions that improve the appearance and <br />20 <br />21 functionality of the corridor study area in accordance with the 1-10 Corridor Analysis. <br />22 5. Consider the guidelines set forth in the 1-10 Corridor Analysis in reviewing projects <br />23 within the corridor study area. <br />24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution, communicating the City of <br />25 Colton's support for will be sent to SANBAG, SCAG, <br />26 SBCo Board of Supervisors, 385 N. Arrowhead Avenue, 5`h Floor, San Bernardino, <br />27 California, 92415. <br />28 <br />
