1 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton, 2 California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS 3 follows : 4 Section 1. That the public interest and convenience require 5 and the City Council of said City hereby orders the following work 6 to be done or improvement to be made, to-wit: all that certain 7 work or improvement described in said Resolution No. 2681, on 8 file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. Reference 9 is hereby made to said Resolution No. 2681 and to plans for said 10 work which are designated "Plan No. 1460", on file in the office 11 of the City Clerk of said City and to specifications for said 12 work, which are designated "Specifications No. 548", also on file 13 in the office of said City Clerk, for a more particular description 14 of said work and for the grades at which such work shall be done. 15 Section 2 . That this City Council has determined and 16 declared that the said contemplated work hereinbefore mentioned, 17 in the opinion of this City Council, is of more than local or 18 ordinary public benefit, and this City Council has made the 19 expense of said work chargeable upon a district, which district 20 this City Council has declared to be the district benefited 21 by the said work and to be assessed to pay the cost and expense 22 thereof. For the particular description of said assessment district 23 reference is hereby made to said Resolution No. 2681. w ti i 24 Section 3 . That this City Council determines and decIw es 25 that serial bonds bearing interest at the rate of six per cent 26 (6y) per annum shall be issued to represent each assessment of 27 fifty dollars ($50) or over remaining unpaid for thirty days (30) 28 days after the date of recordation of the warrant. Said serial 29 bonds shall extend over a period ending nine (9) years from the 30 second day of January next succeeding the next September 1st 31 following their date. Said bonds shall be issued under the 32 Improvement Act of 1911, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways -- 2 -
