FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The cost to the City's residential and commercial landowners is the same as previous years. The
revenue is used to fund the City's NPDES Stormwater Program, as mandated by Federal and
State regulations. Without these fees, the General Fund would bear the costs needed to finance
the Storm Water Program (FY 06-07, $555,612).
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT:
The NPIDES Stormwater Program is a part of the Federal Clean Water Act and is intended to
improve the Nation's waterways. The Federal Government mandates compliance with the
NPDES Storm Water requirements and the State Regional Water Quality Control Board enforces
the requirements.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST:
Not Applicable.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution amending the fiscal year 2006/2007 Basic
Fee for Stormwater Services and the Stormwater Management User Fee as provided for in
Chapter 14.01 of the Colton Municipal Code.
Attachment:
Resolution
Exhibit'A'— Fee Table
Prepared by: Maritza Tapia; Public Works Department
TEAM ONLY
Finance Director: ) . 1--)-eALW Z,1
OTHER:
