DAP - <br />000 -614) <br />WHEREAS, the Colton Community Development Department filed an <br />application (File No. DAP -000-614) requesting a pre -zone amendment to amend the zoning <br />designation on certain properties in an unincorporated area of the City from R-2 (Duplex <br />Residential) to R-1 (Single Family Residential) ("Application") for property located along <br />Jackson Street and Cypress Street, south of "C" Street (Assessor Parcel Nos. 0274-181-01, <br />02, 06, 07, 09, 12, 14 through 30, 274-182-01 through 06, 08, 09, 274-182-44 & 45) in the <br />City of Colton, County of San Bernardino ("Subject Site"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton Planning Commission ("Planning Commission") <br />held a public hearing on the Application on September 5, 2006, after giving published notice <br />of the Application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Application was reviewed, studied, and found to comply with <br />the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") as more fully described below; <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending <br />approval of this Application to the City of Colton City Council; <br />WHEREAS, on September 5, 2006, the City Council of the City of Colton <br />("City Council") conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the Application at which time all <br />persons wishing to testify in connection with the Application were heard and the Application <br />was fully studied; and <br />WHEREAS, all other legal prerequisites to the adoption of this pre -zone <br />ordinance have occurred; <br />1 <br />
