CEREMONIAL MATTERS <br />Presentations, Awards, Proclamations <br />• Business Focus — Leno's Rico Taco <br />Mayor Navarro announced that this ceremonial item would be removed from the agenda <br />and moved to another council meeting date due to the recipient not being available at this <br />time. <br />• Recognition - Lifelong Colton Resident 102nd Birthday <br />Councilmember Chastain presented a Lifelong Colton Resident recognition certificate <br />for Carolina Duarte, who will soon be turning 102 years old on March 28, 2025 <br />certificate was accepted by Carolina Duarte's daughter. <br />• Recognition - San Bernardino Spartans Football Association <br />Councilmember Echevarria presented a recognition certificate to Detective Michael Yeun <br />from the San Bernardino Police Department, recognizing the positive impact that the San <br />Bernardino Spartans Football Association has had in the community. Detective Yeun, joined <br />by the rest of the team, shared a few word about what the San Bernardino Spartans Football <br />Association does and how they are involved in the community. <br />Detective Yeun also called for a moment of silence in honor of San Bernardino Sheriff Hector <br />Cuevas, who was part of their team and who was recently killed in the line of duty; a <br />moment of silence was observed. <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL ITEMS - None <br />GIFT DISCLOSURES: <br />Mayor Navarro asked the members present if there were any agenda items that were a conflict <br />of interest pursuant to CIVIC Section 2.04.030; none disclosed. <br />AB 1234 ORAL REPORTS: <br />Mayor Navarro asked the members present if there were any brief reports on meetings <br />attended at the expense of the city.
