Ivlodifications <br />Article 1 of the Uniform Traffic Ordinance is modified to read as <br />follows: <br />1 <br />Section 1.20 Modifications <br />1. In each instance where 9 A. M. is shown, to change the same to <br />8 A. M. o'clock. <br />I <br />2. In each instance where 7 A. M. is shown, to change the time to <br />8 A. M. o'clock. <br />3. In each instance in the Uniform Traffic Ordinance where the words <br />i <br />"City Traffic Engineer" is used, there shall be and is hereby substituted in lieu' <br />thereof the following: <br />"City Engineer" who shall be one and the same person as the duly <br />qualified and acting City Engineer for the City of Colton. <br />4. In each instance in the Uniform Traffic Ordinance, where the words <br />"Central Traffic District" is used the same shall be deleted and the context of <br />i <br />the sentence or paragraph where said expression appears, read to exclude said <br />words and other words having meaning only when applied to that expression. <br />Section 5. Penalties <br />Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Five _ <br />Hundred ($500. 00) or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding six (6) months, <br />I <br />or by both such fine and imprisonment. <br />Section 6. Constitutionality. <br />If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance; <br />is for any reason held to be unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the <br />validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance. The Council hereby de- � <br />clares that it would have passed this ordinance and each section, subsection, <br />sentence, clause and phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or I <br />more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared unr <br />constitutional. i <br />Section 7.
