RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff would like the opportunity to discuss these actions with interested parties prior to the City <br />Council's consideration of these items. As a result staff recommends that the City Council <br />continue the consideration of the following items until the City Council meeting of February 6, <br />2007: <br />Item (1): Continue the consideration of establishment of a policy concerning use of land <br />for habitat conservation purposes; and <br />Item (2) Continue the consideration of the adoption of an Urgency Ordinance to <br />repeal Urgency Ordinance 0-02-06 and to create Chapter 18.31 in the Municipal Code to <br />establish requirements for the review of land to be used as open space mitigation for species <br />conservation; and <br />Item (3) Continue the public hearing and introduction of an Ordinance of the City Council <br />of the City of Colton Establishing Policy Relating to the Use of Land for Endangered Species <br />Mitigation and Adding Chapter 18.31 to the Colton Municipal Code Establishing Requirements <br />for the Review of Land to be Used as Open Space Mitigation for Species Conservation. <br />Attachments: Proposed Urgency Ordinance and Proposed Permanent Ordinance. <br />Prepared by: City Attorney <br />REVIEW TEAM ONLY <br />City Attorney:` -103�Finance Director. <br />City Manager: '"'C- OTHER:' <br />
