COMMERCIAL SERVICE INCREASES As needed, Republic Industries also provides other services for additional costs. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The City of Colton is paid a 15% Franchise Fee of the billed services. The Franchise Fee is estimated to total $861,000 for fiscal year 2007/2008; this figure does not include revenues from the Utility Tax. As provided for in the service agreement with Republic Services, a City Administrator allocation is also provided to the City; for fiscal year 2007/2008 this allocation will total approximately $96,000.
