These objectives will be achieved through the development of an operational plan to <br />implement a best practice strategy as outlined above. <br />The funding as provided by OTS would be as follows: <br />$64,830.91 for Personnel costs related to programs and enforcement <br />$63,000.00 for two BMW motorcycles <br />$ 6,000.00 for helmets and communications equipment for the motorcycles <br />$ 1,000.00 for training to fulfill the grant objectives. <br />Total: $134,830.91 <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The state grant award provides a total of $134,830.91. The City is not required to match <br />this award with any funds. There is no impact on the general fund. The funds will be <br />maintained and tracked in a separate account through the Finance Department.
