Staff is recommending the award of the Base Bid in the <br />amount of $1,299,704.00. This amount is 17% lower than the Engineer's Estimate for the project <br />($1,566,864.09). The project will be completed within 120 (one hundred and twenty) calendar days <br />from the date which the contractor is issued the Notice to Proceed, as noted in the attached <br />agreement (Exhibit A).
