R-47-09 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF COLTON TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE <br />CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE <br />PURPOSE OF PROVIDING PRESCHOOL CHILDCARE <br />SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 <br />WHEREAS, the State of California has made available a contract in the <br />amount of $178,284 for the Childcare Division of the Community Services <br />Department, for the purpose of providing preschool childcare services in the City. <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON DOES <br />HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Colton hereby authorizes <br />entering into Agreement CSPP-9441 with the State of California for the <br />provision of preschool childcare services in the City of Colton, in the contract <br />amount of $178,284. <br />SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign all documents to <br />effectuate this agreement. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 7T" day of July, 2009. <br />ATTEST: <br />EILEEN C.
