The lowest bid is within the Engineer's <br />Estimate of $214,900 and within the project budget of $260,000. Staff recommends award of a <br />construction contract to the lowest responsive bidder American Asphalt South, Inc., in the <br />amount of $187,784. <br />FISCAL IMPACTS <br />As approved in the FY 2010/2011 budget, funds for the construction of this project are budgeted <br />and available. <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1.
