City of <br />olton <br />Proclamation <br />STANLEY G. COOLEY DAY <br />April 7, 1993 <br />WHEREAS, Stanley G. Cooley helped establish and became a <br />founding Director of the Riverside -Corona Resource <br />Conservation District in 1953; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Cooley Ranch was a model of soil and water con- <br />servation to others; and, <br />WHEREAS, Stanley G. Cooley was a dedicated Director for 40 <br />years, promoting conservation values and methods; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Standley G. Cooley was an officer and leader among <br />Directors in California Association of RCDS; and, <br />WHEREAS, Stanley G. Cooley has set an example of volunteerism <br />for over 40 years of service as a Director of the <br />Riverside -Corona Resource Conservation District; as <br />advisor to Zone 2 of the San Bernardino County <br />Flood; as a 4-H leader for 16 years; and as an <br />advisor for ag educational advisory committees and <br />other public service organizations. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I, Frank A. Gonzales, Mayor of the City of <br />Colton, and my fellow Councilmembers in full appre- <br />ciation of the resource conservation commitment <br />Stanley G. Cooley has made, do hereby honor and <br />proclaim April 7, 1993 as STANLEY G.
