R-1-93 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF COLTON TO AMEND SECTIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL <br />CODE- 18.06.060 USES PERMITTED IN EACH ZONE AND <br />18.04.133 DEFINITIONS. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Colton did consider a <br />Text Amendment, File Index Number DO -1-93, requested by the City of Colton, to <br />amend Title 18 of the Colton Municipal Code as follows: <br />1) Section 18.06.060 "Uses Permitted in Each Zone" to allow mulching and <br />related green waste land uses, including the use of green materials, <br />feedstock, and biological solids such as animal manures and sewer <br />sludge, with a Conditional Use Permit in Agricultural, M-1 and M-2 <br />zones; and <br />2) Section 18.04.133 Definitions to define "Composting" as follows: <br />18.04.133 Compostin <br />"Composting means the use of a parcel, or portion thereof, for <br />producing or storing, for commercial purposes, a mixture that <br />consists largely of decayed organic matter including, without <br />limitations, human waste, in the form of processed sewage sludge, to <br />be used for the purpose of creating any product to be used primarily <br />for fertilizing or conditioning land. Composting includes, but is not <br />limited to, mulching and related green waste land uses. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did give notice of the Public Hearing as <br />required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission did hold said Public Hearing and <br />consider said Text Amendment on January 26, 1993. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City <br />of Colton does hereby recommend that Title 18 of the Colton Municipal Code be <br />amended as per File Index Number DO -1-93. <br />ADOPTED this 26th day of J <br />ATTEST: <br />A ZAMO Secret ry <br />PLANNING_ COMMIS ION <br />City of Colton <br />, 1993. <br />RAMON HERNANDEZ, Cha <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />City of Colton <br />
