Valley Blvd., Colton, CA <br />Dear Mr. Morano: <br />The Code Enforcement Division for the City of Colton has received <br />a complaint regarding the property located at 350 W. Valley Blvd". <br />A site inspection was performed on June 7; 1993 and the following <br />conditions were discovered: <br />1. Abandoned building <br />We now find the said premises to be a Public Nuisance under Chapter <br />18.56.010 of the Colton Municipal Code which states: <br />"It is declared a public nuisance for any person owning, leasing or <br />having charge of any premises in the City to maintain such premises <br />in such manner that any of the following conditions is found to <br />existthereon: <br />B. Buildings which are abandoned, unoccupied, or partially <br />destroyed, for a period of more than six months. Buildings <br />permitted to remain in a state of partial construction for a <br />period of more than six months. <br />P. Property maintained so as to establish a prevalence of <br />depreciated values, impaired investments, and social and <br />economic maladjustments to such an extent that the capacity to <br />pay taxes is reduced and tax receipts from such particular <br />area are inadequate for the cost of public services rendered <br />therein. <br />CITY OF COLTON CIVIC CENTER 0 650 N.
