Mr. Bob Lavine E-9305058-3 May 21, 1993 Page 2 The cost of the Insituform activity includes a pre and post video of the line, traffic control, bypass of flow, and all materials and labor (except as noted in the following special provisions) for the Insituform installation. 1 The City of Colton (City) will perform, or arrange for, all point repairs needed for, all point repairs needed for the Insituform process. No point repairs are anticipated but this will be verified by the project's video inspection. 2. The City will provide water for the Insituform process, at no cost to ISW, including a water meter, if required. 3. ISW will be installing a structural pipe into the 10" pipes which will handle all loads the existing pipe is handling. 4. ISW will provide traffic control for the entire project. This will involve placing the north -bound traffic on Mt. Vernon into the center of the street lane (median strip) and closing off Laurel Ave. east and Hillcrest Ave., at Mt. Vernon Ave. 5. No costs have been included for individual business bypasses, if required. This can be negotiated with the City on an as needed basis. 6. Due to the 24 hour operation of the Insituform activity, there can be no restrictions on working hours or days. 7. All Insituform work for the project will conform to the attached specifications titled "Standard Specifications for the Insituform® Process" dated 9-92. 8. Final inspection and approval will be accomplished by a post video of the line provided by ISW. 9. Our proposal is based on using Laborers' Local Union 1234 labor rates for this project, which has been _accepted by the State of California as the prevailing wage for the Insituform activity. 10. Upon completion of the field work, ISW will issue a 90% invoice to the City for its work, which will be payable in thirty (30) days from the date of installation. Retention will be payable within 60 days. 11. This proposal is good through September 1993.
