If the subject parcel(s) was created by a recorded parcel or final map, the parcel map, tentative and final map shall be waived. 2. If the subject parcel was not created by a recorded parcel or final map, the tentative map shall be waived and a parcel map is required. 16.27.060 ` Review bye Engineer. Upon review of the application as provided for under this Section, the City Engineer shall recommend to the city council 'the extent of waivers permitted. 1. Upon the grant of a M waiver as provided in section 16.27.050 (1), the City Engineer shall prepare a Certificate of Compliance or Conditional Certificate of Compliance, as appropriate, for recordation in the Office of the County Recorder for the purpose of documenting the approval of the subdivision. The City Engineer shall not record or release for recordation_a Conditional Certificate of Compliance prepared pursuant to this Section unless and until the owner or owners of the property to ` be subdivided or the appropriate city agency, as the case may be, have entered into an agreement with the city to provide for the satisfactory completion of all conditions of Certificate of Compliance. 2. Upon the grant of a partial waiver provided in section 16.27.050, the City Engineer shall not record or release for recordation the parcel map prepared pursuant to this Section unless and until the owner or owners of the property to be subdivided, or the appropriate city agency, as the case may be, have entered into an agreement with the city to provide for the satisfactory completion of all conditions of the parcel map. -3-
