To employ all heads of departments and all subordinate officers and employees <br />of the city to be appointed hereafter, subject to all pertinent civil service regulations <br />andsubject to theme' ratification of the <br />city !ncT1!"'-*"e!x <br />WWW ivotmng nerein contamea shall apply, however, to the city clerk, the city <br />attorney or the city treasurer; " <br />SECTION 2: One complete copy of this ordinance shall be certified to be a <br />true, correct, and complete copy by the City Clerk of Colton and shall be kept on file in the <br />office of the City Clerk. <br />SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall cause this Ordinance or a summary thereof <br />to be published within fifteen (15) days after adoption in a newspaper of general circulation, <br />printed and published in Colton, California. and the Ordinance shall take effect according <br />to law thirty (30) ` days from the date of final passage and approval. <br />PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this day of , 1993. <br />ATTEST: <br />Helen A.
