GIMS-6402 <br />GENERAL CHILD CARE FOR SERVICES IN FISCAL YEAR 1996/97 <br />DATE: NOVEMBER 21, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Childcare Division of the Neighborhood Services Department has been notified that the City has been <br />selected to participate in a grant funded program, to purchase education material and supplies. The grant amount <br />awarded to the City is in the amount of $3, 000. There is no local match required in order to receive this money. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />As stated above, this is a 100% grant in the amount of $3,000, with no local match required.
