R_146__-96 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA APPROVING <br />AND ADOPTING THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION <br />CONTRACT NO. GIMS-6402 FOR CHILD CARE <br />SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1996/97 <br />WHEREAS, the State Department of education is making one-time <br />funds available to the City of Colton for the expressed purpose of <br />purchasing educational materials and supplies: and <br />WHEREAS, by agreeing to accept said grant funds, the City of <br />Colton will enter into an agreement with the state of California to carry out <br />all of the provision of the State, and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON, CALIFORNIA HEREBY <br />APPROVED AND ADOPTS the California State Department of Education <br />contract for the purpose of purchasing one-time only instructional <br />materials, for the child care program, for fiscal year 1996/97; and, <br />Appoint Malik Freeman , City Manager, as agent of the City of <br />Colton to execute and submit all documents, including but not limited to <br />contracts, application, payment requests and so on, which may be <br />necessary for the completion of the aforementioned project. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 17th DAY OF <br />DECEMBER, 1996. <br />ATTEST: <br />Carolina P.
