CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />For City Council Meeting of July 16, 1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: Nabar Enrique Martinez, City Manager <br />FROM: Gracie Ferndndez Harmon, Personnel Director <br />SUBJECT: Approval of Job Description for the Full -Time Position of Contract <br />Administrator <br />DATE: July 10. 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: On June 18, 1996 the City Council adopted the budget for Fiscal Year <br />1996-97. Within that budget is the new position of Contract Administrator in the City Manager's <br />office. The City Council set the salary range for the position in Resolution R-62-96 at $3,933- <br />$4,783 monthly. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: In order to initiate the recruitment process for this position, the City <br />Council first has to approve the job description. The attached job description for Contract <br />Administrator has been reviewed by the City Manager. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This position is funded in the budget for Fiscal Year 1996-97 as follows: <br />Salary in account #01-1201-01 and benefits in account #01-1201-10. <br />Nabar Enrlque Marti City Manager <br />RECOMMENDATION: That City Council approve the job description for Contract <br />Administrator as recommended. <br />comnem job eme doe <br />ITEM N0. 33 <br />
