59 <br />City of Colton <br />CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR <br />Page two <br />OUALIFICATIONS (Cont'd): <br />Ability <br />Enforce the provisions of contractual agreements for solid waste, lighting and <br />landscaping maintenance districts, franchise agreements and other such service or <br />construction contracts as may be directed by the City Manager. <br />Establish, maintain and coordinate effective working relationships with City staff, <br />contractors and other agencies. <br />Establish standards for compliance review. <br />Evaluate the work and performance of contractors and others to assure compliance with <br />contract and code provisions. <br />Prepare and present accurate written and oral reports on project status. <br />Interpret and enforce contracts, codes, rules and regulations. <br />Negotiate contracts and/or contract renewals. <br />MINIMUM REOUIREMENTS: <br />Education: <br />Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in public <br />administration, business administration, or a closely related field. A Masters degree is <br />preferred. <br />Experience: <br />Two years of professional experience supervising, administering, negotiating or <br />managing contracts between municipalities and/or other government agencies and private <br />contractors, franchisees and/or other providers of services to governmental agencies. <br />Experience in managing municipal solid waste contracts and franchise agreements <br />preferred. Experience in the administration of Lighting and Landscaping Maintenance <br />Districts a plus. <br />License or Certificate: <br />Possession of valid California, Class "C", driver's license. <br />APPROVED BY COUNCIL: <br />co t mdmin <br />
