CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 18,1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: NABAR ENRIQUE MARTINEZ, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL- <br />TIME POSITION OF POLICE DISPATCHER H IN THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: JUNE 12,1996 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Police Dispatcher II position in the Police Department. <br />This position became vacant on May 18, 1996. Attached is the job description for the <br />classification; salary range is $1,925 - $2,340 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS- Recruitment for said position is being conducted on a continuous <br />basis. Oral examinations were conducted in May 1996. An eligibility list was established on May <br />8, 1996. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience <br />requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is a general fund position and is funded for the 1995-96 fiscal year. <br />Fund Account No. 01-2006-01 (salary) and Account No. 01-2006-10 (salary related benefits). <br />Bernard O.
