FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />San Bernardino County Department of Economic and Community Development (ECD) <br />has approved the three Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) reimbursable <br />funded projects, Project No. 104-20505,104-21605, and 104-21805. The CDBG <br />Program Tracking Report of September 30, 1996 shows available fund balance of <br />$501,820 for Street improvements. <br />Staffs Engineer's cost estimate for these three projects is $448,561 <br />ENVIRONMENTAL: <br />None <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff has advertised and received the list of bidders for the C.D.B.G. <br />Project 104-20505,104-21605 and 104-21805. Contingent upon E.C.D. review and <br />approval of contract C.D.B.G. forms and if Council concurs, staff would recommend <br />selection of Matich Corporation in the amount of $493,073.75 and to authorize the <br />appropriation of funds for this contract. <br />Report prepared by James R.
