In order to withdraw, <br />a member city must adopt a resolution of intent to withdraw which must be given to the <br />executive director at least 90 days prior to the effective date of withdrawal. The effective date <br />of withdrawal for any entity is July 1st. This means that in order to withdraw effective July 1, <br />1997, a city must adopt a resolution of intention to withdraw and must give that resolution to <br />the executive director no later than April 1, 1997. <br />At the present time, the City of Colton is a member in good standing with <br />SANBAG. Should the City wish to reconsider its continuing commitment to this organization <br />it would be appropriate to direct this office to prepare a resolution of intent to withdraw so that <br />the proper procedures may be set in motion in time to assure completion by July 1, 1997. <br />Concurrence: <br />Malik Dantala Freeman, Interim City Manager <br />
