CITY OF COLTON <br />r� AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 1, 1996 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIIC DANTALA FREEMAN, INTERIM CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL-TIME <br />POSITION OF EXECUTIVE SECRETARY IN THE CITY MANAGER'S <br />OFFICE <br />DATE: SEPTEMBER 23,1996 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Executive Secretary position in the City Manager's Office. <br />Attached is thejob description for the classification; salary range is $2,455 - $3,020 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted. Oral examinations were <br />held and an eligibility list established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the <br />r611 education and experience requirements as specified in thejob description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is a general fund position and is funded for the 1996-97 fiscal year as <br />follows: Account No 100-6020-6020-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100-6020-6020-1100 (salary <br />relat&antaleman, <br />I Interim City Manager <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: None. <br />RECOMMENDATION: That City Council ratify the employee appointment to the full-time position <br />of Executive Secretary as recommended by the Interim City Manager. <br />Attachment: Job Description <br />Prepared by: Arleen P.
