1 additional ten (12) months until August 20, 1998 unless sooner terminated or further <br />2 extended by the City Council of the City of Colton. <br />3 <br />4 SECTION 2: Report Issuance. <br />5 The City Council has on this date previously adopted as its own and issued the <br />6 report dated July 28, 1997 and finds that the report does adequately describe the measures <br />7 taken to alleviate the condition which led to the adoption of Ordinance No. 0-29-96 and its <br />8 extension by Ordinance No. 0-32-96 pursuant to the requirements of Government Code <br />9 § 65858(d). <br />10 <br />11 SECTION 3: Severability. <br />12 If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance <br />13 is for any reason held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall <br />14 not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. The City Council hereby <br />15 declares that it would have passed and adopted this Ordinance, and each and all provisions <br />16 hereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more provisions may be declared invalid. <br />17 <br />SECTION 4: Publication. <br />18 <br />19 The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the <br />20 same to be published in the manner prescribed by law. <br />21 SECTION 5: Urgency Measure. <br />22 This Ordinance shall be introduced, passed and adopted at one and the same <br />23 meeting and shall become effective immediately providing an extension from August 20, <br />24 <br />25 <br />26 <br />27 <br />28 <br />
