Bennett 1 <br />Subject: "California First" Congressional Leadership Summit sponsored by SCAG <br />Council Meeting of February 4, 1997 <br />On April 11, 1997, the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) will be <br />sponsoring a "California First" Congressional Leadership Summit. The purpose of this <br />Summit is to enable our congressional delegation to work together in a bi-partisan <br />manner and in a unified way and to discuss issues of critical concern and promote <br />"delegation unity" for our state of California. <br />In light of this upcoming Summit, I formally request for the Council's consideration and <br />approval of the attached Resolution in support of the "California First" Congressional <br />Leadership Summit. <br />DHB:adf <br />Attachment <br />Item No. 19 <br />
