CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 7,1997 <br />TO: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, CITY MANAGER <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR,. <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL-TEVIE <br />POSITION OF METER READER IN THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: DECEMBER 19, 1996 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Meter Reader position in the Electric Department. <br />Attached is the job description for the classification; salary range is $2,022 - $2,458 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted, and an eligibility list was <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience <br />requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is an enterprise fund position and is funded for the 1996-97 fiscal <br />year as follows: Account No. 520-8000-8003-1010 (salary) and Account No. 520-8000-8003-1100 <br />(salary related benefits). <br />Thomas K.
