It was clear from the November 26 <br />hearing that additional research and public outreach efforts will be necessary prior to City <br />adoption of the study. However, except for attendance at two City Council meetings, <br />consultant work on the study has been completed. Therefore, extension of our contract to <br />conduct additional work in response to concerns and issues raised at that hearing appears <br />necessary. <br />The following scope of work is recommended in response to the December 3 discussion. Total <br />cost is estimated at $25,190 as indicated on the summary cost table on page 5 of this scope. <br />Work efforts and hours expended beyond those specified would be reimbursed separately on <br />a time and materials basis using a standard hourly rate of $95 and a per copy cost of additional <br />Capital Infrastructure Study reports of $48. The following scoPe is subject to adjustment in <br />the contract amendment to meet the level of effort desired or the budget available. <br />Since contract amendment processes will require some time for completion, Topping Jaquess <br />Consultants is prepared to attend two meetings of the Ad Hoc Committee in lieu of completion <br />of the two remaining City Council meetings on the existing contract. This would allow us to <br />Proceed with support to the City while the amendment is under review and to submit a final <br />invoice on the existing contract. <br />RRevised Scope of Work <br />Task 1. Provide Twelve Copies of Capital Infrastructure Study Report. Provide twelve <br />additional copies of the final report for City use and distribution. The copies will be provided <br />at cost plus 15% for handling. Based on prior report copy costs, these are projected to cost <br />$575, or approximately $48 per copy.
