VALLEY BLVD., FOR CONNECTION TO THE <br />CITY'S SEWER SYSTEM <br />DATE: January 15, 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Council has previously indicated that in order to supply water or sewer services to <br />an unincorporated area, the property owner must agree to future annexation of the <br />property into the City of Colton. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: <br />Attached is an Agreement for Future Annexation of the property located at 1087 W. <br />Valley Blvd. (Lido Motel), which is currently located in the County of San Bemardino's <br />jurisdiction. The Agreement is a condition for allowing the Lido Motel to connect to the <br />City's sewer system. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: <br />The sewer connection fees will be paid upon permit approval for connection to the <br />City's sewer system. <br />Thomas K. Clarke, Interim Water & Wastewater Director <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that Council approve the Agreement for Future Annexation of the <br />property located at 1087 W.
