City of Colton <br />AGENDA REPORT (Continued) <br />For Council Meeting of July 1, 1997 <br />Subject: Law Enforcement Block Grant #16.592 <br />ALTERNATIVES: <br />Other than applying for a grant to purchase and upgrade existing communications, the <br />department will not be able to purchase these items under the existing budget constraints. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The federal grant award provides a total of $94,545 for the grant year. The city must <br />match this award with $10,495, for a total of $105,040. The match amount will be funded <br />through asset seizure account #261-6070-6082. There is no impact on the general fund.
