R-65-97 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLTON <br />APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />A 2.0 MGD SECONDARY TREATMENT PLANT EXPANSION <br />AND RENOVATION FOR HYDRAULIC RELIABILITY <br />(STATE REVOLVING FUND PROJECT NO. C-06-4251-110) <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton, acting in compliance with the State of <br />California and the City of Colton Environmental Guidelines, required the <br />preparation of an environmental analysis for the proposed 2.0 MGD <br />Secondary Treatment Plant Expansion and Renovation for Hydraulic <br />Reliability; and <br />WHEREAS, a mitigated negative declaration was prepared by a <br />consultant for the City of Colton and reviewed by City Staff; and <br />WHEREAS, the mitigated negative declaration was submitted for <br />review to responsible and interested public agencies and individuals; and <br />WHEREAS, comments relating to said proposed mitigated negative <br />declaration had been received during the review period required by law, and <br />adequate responses and mitigation commitments had been prepared; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Colton wishes to mitigate any potential <br />adverse environmental impacts caused by the expansion of its wastewater <br />treatment plant by an additional two million gallons a day; and <br />
