CITY OF COLTON <br />AGENDA REPORT <br />FOR COUNCIL MEETING OF MARCH 4,1997 <br />T: HONORABLE MAYOR & CITY COUNCIL <br />APPROVAL: MALIK DANTALA FREEMAN, CITY MANAGE �e-- <br />0 <br />FROM: GRACIE FERNANDEZ HARMON, PERSONNEL DIRECTOR <br />SUBJECT: RATIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE APPOINTMENT TO THE FULL -TANTE <br />POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />DATE: FEBRUARY 20,' 1997 <br />BACKGROUND: There is one (1) vacant Police Officer position in the Police Department. <br />Attached is the job description for the classification; salary range is $2,847 $3,459 per month. <br />DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS: Recruitment for said position was conducted and an eligibility list <br />established. The candidate being referred for Council ratification meets the education and experience <br />requirements as specified in the job description. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACT: This is a grant funded position and is funded for the 1996-97 fiscal year as <br />follows: Account No. 100-6070-6084-1010 (salary) and Account No. 100-5070-6084-1100 (salary <br />related benefits). <br />Bernard O.
