Commissioner Hayden <br />made a motion to approve the minutes; seconded by Vice -Chairperson Prieto, motion <br />carried. <br />ITEM G PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. FILE INDEX NUMBER: D-62-96 CITY OF COLTON, WATER AND <br />WASTEWATER DEPARTMENT <br />Ms. Moran stated that the project site is 1201 South Rancho Ave., and the request is <br />for an environmental determination for the expansion and repairs to the wastewater <br />treatment facility. Planning Commission action is required prior to the City being able <br />to obtain a revolving fund to meet the mandate of expanding the facility. <br />Public Hearing Opened. <br />Public Hearing Closed. <br />Commissioner Hayden made a motion to approve File Index Number D-62-96 and <br />staff's recommendation; seconded by Commissioner Vilches, motion carried. <br />2. FILE INDEX NUMBER: DV -60-96 AD ART ELECTRONIC SIGN <br />Mr. Soto read the staff report. This is a request for an Environmental Assessment and <br />a Major Variance for a 14.7 s.f. logo sign for Friendly Hills Medical Group, located at <br />900 East Washington Street. The Planning Commission continued this item from <br />January 28, 1997, to provide staff time to gather further information on the square <br />footage of the building, the logo colors, the allowable square footage for new signs, and <br />colors of signs on adjacent buildings. <br />
