9. Entire Agreement and Successors in Interest. This <br />Settlement Agreement contains the entire agreement between the <br />JULIE HAYWARD BIGGS and the CITY OF COLTON, the City Council, and <br />each councilperson, with regard to the matters set forth herein, <br />and shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the <br />executors, administrators, personal representatives, heirs, <br />successors, and assigns of each. This Settlement Agreement may <br />not be amended except by an instrument in writing, executed by <br />the parties hereto. <br />10. Representation of Comprehension of Document. In <br />entering into this Settlement Agreement, JULIE HAYWARD BIGGS <br />represents that she has relied upon the legal advice of her <br />attorney, who is the attorney of her own choice, and that the <br />terms of this Settlement Agreement have been completely read and <br />explained to her by her attorney, and that those terms are fully <br />understood and voluntarily accepted by her. <br />11. Governing Law. The validity, construction, <br />interpretation, and administration of this Agreement shall be <br />governed by the substantive laws of the State of California. <br />12. Additional Documents. All parties agree to <br />cooperate fully and execute any and all supplementary documents <br />and to take all additional actions which may be necessary or <br />appropriate to give full force and effect to the basic terms and <br />intent of this Agreement. <br />colton\$ettle.z Page 9 of 10 <br />
