R- 9 9— 9 7 <br />2 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />3 COLTON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE INDEPENDENT <br />CITIES RISK MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (ICRMA) <br />4 JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT TO <br />5 AUTHORIZE A MEMBER CITY TO APPOINT A <br />SUBSTITUTE ALTERNATE REPRESENTATIVE TO THE <br />6 GOVERNING BOARD <br />7 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a member of the Independent Cities Risk <br />8 <br />Management Authority ("ICRMA'), a Joint Powers Authority created pursuant to the <br />9 <br />10 <br />provisions of the California Government Code; and <br />11 <br />12 WHEREAS, the City of Colton is a signatory to the Joint Powers Agreement <br />13 which governs the operation of ICRMA and establishes the membership of its Governing <br />14 <br />Board; and <br />15 <br />16 WHEREAS, the City of Colton desires to approve an amendment to the Joint <br />17 <br />18 Powers Agreement to authorize the appointment of a substitute alternate representative to the <br />19 Governing Board should a Member City desire to do so; <br />20 <br />21 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Colton does hereby find, <br />22 determine, and declare as follows: <br />23 <br />24 <br />25 1 • This City Council does approve an amendment to Article V, of the Joint <br />26 Powers Agreement, as amended, to read as follows: <br />27 <br />28 <br />
