City of Colton <br />Agenda Report <br />Council Meeting of August 18, 1998 <br />Page 2 <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The developers of the tract adjacent to Cantera Street have agreed to design and <br />construct the barrier across the street. Additional work will be required and should <br />consist of the removal of pavement and the installation of street signs. Additionally, <br />there may be a need for some additional landscaping and the maintenance associated <br />with such landscaping. These improvements will be the responsibility of the City. We <br />do not anticipate the need to relocate existing utilities as a result of this project. The <br />estimated fiscal impact of this project should not exceed $5,000. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council adopt Resolution NO. R- S01if calling for the <br />closure of Cantera Street North of San Bernardino Avenue. <br />Attachments <br />
