SECTION I <br />INTRODUCTION <br />It is our understanding that City staff has received complaints regarding high water pressure from residents <br />of the Reche Canyon area over the past several years. More specifically, City staff has received complaints' <br />from residents located on East Skyview Drive, South Cindee Lane, East Malibu Court, East Topanga Way,' <br />East Carbon Court, East Bryce Court, East Gunnison Way, and Canyon Drive. The approximate locations' <br />of the residences from which complaints were received are shown on Figure 1. <br />As a result of these complaints, City staff directed Krieger & Stewart to perform an investigation and <br />determine what alternatives are available to eliminate the high water pressure problem; we were also <br />instructed to prepare cost estimates for each feasible alternative. We have attended conferences with City <br />staff, reviewed existing system maps, ,provided limited hydraulic analyses, and conducted a. site <br />investigation to gain a better understanding of the problems and the existing system. <br />I-1 <br />
