SECTION II
EXISTING CONDITIONS
The Reche Canyon area is served by two pressure zones, the Reche Canyon I Pressure' Zone and the Reche
Canyon II Pressure Zone. Said pressure zones and existing water facilities in the Reche Canyon area are
shown on Figure 2.
A. RECHE CANYON I PRESSURE ZONE
The Reche CanyonI Pressure Zone serves the lower portion (northerly) of the Reche Canyon area
,
and is bounded by Barton Road on the north and Placid Lane on the south. Said zone receives
water from the Central. Zone via the Reche Canyon Booster Station, which pumps water to the 3
Million Gallon (MG) Montecito Reservoir (which has a high water elevation of 1,241 feet). The
Montecito Reservoir provides water service to properties with elevations between approximately
1,040 feet and 1,140 feet, and provides static pressures ranging between approximately 45 psi and
90 psi.
B. RECHE CANYON II PRESSURE ZONE
The Reche Canyon 11 Pressure Zone serves the upper portion (southerly) of the Reche Canyon
area, and is southerly of Placid Lane and southerly and westerly of South Mohave Drive. Portions
of South Mohave Drive and South Cindee Lane are served by both the Reche Canyon I and Reche
Canyon II♦ Pressure Zones. The Reche Canyon II Pressure Zone receives water from the Reche
Canyon I Pressure Zone via the Prado Booster Station (which is located near the intersection of
Reche Canvon Road and Prado Lane), which pumps water to the 2 MG Wild Canyon Reservoir
l`
(which has a high water elevation of 1,509 feet).
