Arrowhead Management Group June 3, 1998 Daryl Parrish Assistant City Manager City of Colton 650 North La Cadena Drive Colton, California 92324 Reference: SBCMCRP - Streets, Storm Drain, Intersection Improvements and Landscaping Subject: Proposal to Cover Extra Work for Construction Project Management Services Engineering Design and Survey Services Geotechnical Services Dear Daryl: Arrowhead Management Group ("AMG") is respectfully requesting an extension of our current Construction Project Management contract with the City of Colton in order to continue uninterrupted project services to closeout the project. We are also requesting additional compensation for our Subconsultants ASL Consulting Engineers, Inc. and Calwest Consultants. As you know, our Consulting Services Contract provided for the duration of work to run seventeen and one-half months and was to include eleven months of design and preconstruction activity and six and one-half months of construction activity. When our agreement was executed, the project time was to have been substantially completed by mid February 1998. In February 1998, our contract was extended to cover our services through the end of May 1998. As you know, we have stayed within that "not to exceed" fee through the end of May. BACKGROUND: Attached is a log of events (Exhibit "A") covering the period from AMG's original response to the City's Request for Proposal through construction. We have noted our original proposed dates for various milestones to give you some background concerning our work to date.
