City of Colton <br />Agenda Report <br />Council Meeting of July 21, 1998 <br />Page 2 <br />After deducting this amount the additional net project cost as a result ASL's extra work <br />will be $15,850.25 <br />Calwest Geotechnical Consultants <br />The additional Calwest request is a result of compaction re -testing for storm drain, <br />sidewalks and curb and gutter. Of the total $2,837.60 charge, $720 will be charged <br />back to the contractor. The total project cost as a result of Calwest's additional work <br />will be $2,117.60. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />The Arrowhead Management Group Design Engineering and Construction <br />Management Agreement is funded by the County of San Bernardino through the <br />Memorandum of Understanding between the County of San Bernardino and the City of <br />Colton. Of the total $41,232.85, $16,265 will be offset by a deduction from the <br />contractor's final payment, approximately $6,000 will be funded by the County and paid <br />back at a later date without interest, (through the MOU loan) and approximately <br />$18,967.85, will be paid for directly by the County of San Bernardino. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the City Council approve the extension of the contract for <br />Design Engineering and Construction Management Services with the Arrowhead <br />Management Group through August 31, 1998. <br />Attachments <br />
